USTA Midwest Section Championships for 18 & Over take place August 18 - 20, 2017 in Fort Wayne and South Bend, IN.

All the teams are very good and any team has a chance to beat any other team. Tennis League Analytics ranks these teams as the strongest in their flights.

Midwest sectionals consist of five teams in one flight.

Women’s 4.5

Top teams:

2. WI
3. IN

OH looks strong in doubles. WI and IN not far behind.

Women’s 4.0

Top teams:
1. OH
2. IL
3. MI

OH looks strong in doubles and IL has an edge in singles. MI and WI are very close.

Women’s 3.5

Top teams:
1. MI
2. OH
3. WI

The top three teams are very close with a slight edge to MI.

Women’s 3.0

Top teams:
1. MI
2. IN

Too close to call between these two. The next two teams are also very tight.

Men’s 4.5

Top teams:
1. IN
2. MI
3. WI

If all of IN’s singles play, they will be tough to beat.

Men’s 4.0

Top teams:
1. IL
2. IN

Very competitive top-to-bottom but should IL and IN have a slight edge versus the field. IL and IN are the teams to watch.

Men’s 3.5

Top teams:
1. OH

OH has a very slight edge versus the other four teams. This flight is very competitive and should be the most fun to play in and watch.

Men’s 3.0

Top teams:
1. MI
2. OH

Only four teams in this flight. MI and OH are separated by a few thousandths of a point.
